Happiness is having a photo taken by David Sutton. The first time we went was as family (wife, son, dog) on my 40th birthday. Our dog began freaking out and things seemed like they were headed south. But David was calm and took control of the situation, making each of us laugh and somehow making my dog cock his head and smile just the way he does at home.
The pictures were outstanding and it was difficult to make selections.

David did a really great job of running our session. We have two dogs and there are three of us. David has a very calm way of getting everyone (including the dogs) through the session. Great guy and a real professional.

My favorite items in my home are my Sutton prints!!! My place is like a Sutton showroom—can’t have enough of these – and what other human can get 3 dogs to pose at the same time?? LOVE this whole team of people as well as my gorgeous prints!!!!!

The work you did with my golden retriever, Capone, was outstanding. How you got that wound-up dog to look so good when he never closed his mouth – is beyond belief!
And you made me look better than I deserve!
With your easy and creative style, in less than an hour you created a treasure to last a lifetime. Thanks, David!

Loved having a sitting with David Sutton. He captures moments in time that we never could have accomplished on our own. The only hard part is choosing which amazing photos to frame.
Not only was the end result a beautiful collection of photos, the experience was lovely. David and his team are fabulous. We felt comfortable, welcome, and had a great time!
My son is graduating from college in May. I see this photo, framed and hanging in our upstairs hallway, and am reminded of my little boy. His two buddies, Mo and Chester, have passed on and he is now a strong, bright, young man. I am grateful we had this photo taken all those years ago. You help me hold the memories close. Thank you, Mr. Sutton.

I just wanted you to know how pleased I am with the photographs you did of our two sons, our Golden Retriever and our cat. My husband and I are still in awe that you were able to capture all of their personalities, considering our cat’s wild behavior and our dog’s disinterest the day you photographed them. Your truly are an artist with extraordinary talent. Thank you again for capturing the images we will always cherish.
You are incredible!! When I showed my exhibition prints to my friends, they were either rendered speechless or moved to tears by the beauty of your photos. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making me, my husband and our dog all look soooo good.
Sadly our dear Kishke passed away last month . . . She lay down to take a nap in the sun and never awoke. There’s now a void in our lives, but we can look at the wonderful photos of her you took and almost feel she’s still with us. Thank you so much for your skill and talent. Through these photos we will always be near her.
It has been such a pleasure working with you and our photos are ‘out of this world.’ We can’t stop talking about them or showing them to friends and family.
Your studio is fantastic and the photos are amazing!
Last year I brought my dogs (Majerle and Daisy) in to get our portraits as I had just found out that one of my dogs, Majerle had cancer. Last Wednesday, Majerle lost the fight. I am left with wonderful memories and absolutely beautiful portraits that captured everyone’s spirits. I still talk about the day we had our pictures taken and how much fun we all had!! I just wanted to officially thank everyone at Sutton Studios for helping make such a lovely memory.
We had our family photo taken by David Sutton when our first Shiba, Bruno, was 12 years old. I had thought about it for years and years and just never got around it. I can not tell you how incredibly fabulous every single photo was. We had a difficult time choosing our favorites. More poignantly, one year later we had to put Bruno down due to cancer. Those photos are some of the most wonderful keepsakes we have of that incredible dog. Our current Shiba is 2 and I will soon be scheduling a photo shoot with him
