Holding History
Are you wondering about the photos you had taken five, ten, or even twenty-five years ago?
We have good news for you: They’re all here.
Perhaps you’d like to schedule a portrait session with a new dog, and then take some time to review photos from a previous session while you’re here.
You can do that.
Or maybe you’re recalling some of the selections you loved, but did not request at the time of your sitting. You’d like to take a second look.
You can do that, too.
In recent years we’ve had the great pleasure of meeting with clients to design beautiful, retrospective albums that bring photos from all their sessions together in one place.
Naomi, who had originally been in with her children, decided to surprise her husband by celebrating their empty-nest dogs in photos.
“We are both very busy, but we're busy in our own worlds. I'm very busy in organizations and he's very busy with his sailboat. And the dogs, you know, they bring us together, we take walks with them.
I think we have a really good relationship, too. I mean, it's one that has not diminished over more than 45 years. We want to do things for each other, and he's not the type of person I can buy a gift for.”
She scheduled a new portrait session, and after designing new artwork for their walls, considered photos from all of her earlier visits and designed a retrospective album that includes photos from all four sessions.
”For the fourth time in 20 years Sutton Studios has captured the personalities of the dogs in our family’s life, along with human family members, with amazing photographic artistry. Somehow they’re able to turn what always seems to me a chaotic scene of two dogs running everywhere into beautiful portraits.
We will be back with grand-kids and dogs in tow to challenge them again, and I have no doubt the results will again be pure art.” —Naomi S, 2023
